N. Korolevska, Committee Chairperson,
emphasised the leading role of entrepreneurship in the economic sphere of Ukraine
and stated that "the country faced the serious renewal of the business elite."
According to her, "those companies that have survived the crisis increased
their vitality." However, the People´s Deputy is convinced that "the
competitive ability of the national business increased, which is not connected
with the world crisis, but caused by the domestic Ukrainian reality."
The Committee members emphasised that the main problem that restrained the development of the entrepreneurship in the state was non-fulfillment of the adopted laws. The lack of crediting, VAT refund, current assets and unpredictable tax policy are reasons that have a negative impact on the competitive ability of the Ukrainian business.
According to the Committee Chairperson, increase of the investments into the business development "is seriously restrained by the lack of guarantees of private property immunity." N. Korolevska believes that "state racket on the part of fiscal bodies facing entrepreneurs during the year is a serious obstacle on the way of national private sector development." The People´s Deputy of Ukraine also expressed hope regarding the state aid and stimulation of the entrepreneurship.
